Issues call in recognition of Patriot Day and the National Day of Service and Remembrance

 

Charleston, WV - Governor Jim Justice has issued a proclamation in accordance with the Presidential Proclamation ordering all U.S. and state flags on all state-owned facilities throughout West Virginia to be displayed at half-staff from dawn to dusk, on Monday, September 11, 2017, for Patriot Day and the National Day of Service and Remembrance.

Monday marks the 16th anniversary of the largest act of terrorism on United States soil, a day forever marked as one of the most infamous in this nation's history.
